Afghan Capital Rocked By Multiple Bomb Attacks. Scores Reported Killed

ABC News (Australia): Multiple bomb attacks shake Afghanistan's capital, 'heavy casualties expected'

A suicide bomber has struck near the Kabul police academy in one of a series of attacks across the Afghan capital reportedly targeting coalition bases and government buildings.

At least 20 people were reported dead following the attack on the police academy in the second major attack in the city in less than 24 hours.

Two other blasts have also been reported near Kabul airport, as the Taliban claimed responsibility for the academy bombing on Twitter.

The academy attack, which came as cadets returned after their two-day weekend, marked a serious breach of security at a premier training institute for Afghan security forces.

"A suicide bomber on foot blew himself up near the academy," said deputy interior ministry spokesman Najib Danish.

"Heavy casualties are expected."

I'd say Obama is prosecuting the war pretty well.
