German Chancellor Angela Merkel: 'No Limit' To Refugees We'll Take In

SKY News: Germany: 'No Limit' To Refugees We'll Take In

Germany says it "has the strength to do what is necessary" as it prepares to accept 7,000 refugees on Saturday alone.

Chancellor Angela Merkel has said there is no legal limit to the number of asylum seekers Germany will take in, with at least 800,000 expected this year alone.

Mrs Merkel was speaking as thousands of exhausted refugees were bussed from Hungary into Austria, with most thought to be en route to Germany.

German police said at least 2,000 people had arrived at Munich railway station so far, with up to 7,000 expected by nightfall.

WNU Editor: Comments like that will only encourage millions to make the journey. The tragedy of all of this is that Germany cannot even accommodate the refugees who are already in the country .... let alone the 800,000 it expects in the next few months .... which in my opinion is a ridiculously low number. Not surprising .... this crisis is breaking up her coalition government .... The refugee crisis is causing huge political problems for Angela Merkel (Reuters).

Update: It looks like Austria is beginning to realize that this is getting out of hand .... Austria to revoke measures that let migrants cross from Hungary (Reuters).

Land has a carrying capacity as do lifeboats.

Any previous critical thinking skills Merkel had due to her profession have left her as she acts like a pol and reacts to each emerging situation.
