CNN: First aid shipment in months reaches besieged Madaya; starving Syrians weep
(CNN)The first shipment of foreign aid since October reached the besieged Syrian city of Madaya on Monday, bringing starving residents to tears at the sight, a United Nations source told CNN.
Four trucks carrying food and blankets had moved into the city by about 5.30 p.m. Monday local time, the source said. The rest of the 44-truck convoy, carrying medicine and other supplies, was expected to enter the city shortly afterward, the source said.
Shocking images of starving residents of the rebel-held city -- under siege by Syrian regime forces and their allies since July -- have drawn international attention.

And here it is from the CBC which finally, albeit deservedly, mentions al Nusra as al Qaeda and the fact that the "rebels" are holding aid back from the population.
Note the comment boards too. It looks like there are Canadians catching on to what the U.S. and its allies, including Canada have been up to.
I meant reservedly, not deservedly.

This site continues to be anti-Syria, reporting US propaganda as news.
Don,
Not really, it is just MSM heavy, with a moderate amount of RT and others,
And the MSM just blindly reports US Government propaganda as news, and often, with the "unnamed official" stories, the MSM deliberately pushes US Propaganda as news.
There is also the "conformational bias", in which one Media outlet " confirms" another Media outlet's "story" through the simple act of parroting it.
Sites like Blogdogcicle publish aggregates on Yemen, Syria, ISIS that rely far more on outlets like FARS, and RT, but many of those "claims" cannot be "confirmed", because they are the only reports, and sites like Blogdogcicle also publish Alex Jones and other CT, unfiltered.
thanks Jay
No offence Don,
I don't see a bias from Our Dear Editor😉 While we do see MSM stuff as Jay mentioned, there is never a move on here to censor the posting of conflicting items or opinions. Regardless of their (highly subjective, in my opinion as I am, supposedly a chief - and unrepentant- perpetrator of said) "vulgarity" or "stupidity", comments, opinions and positions are generally ecouraged; or at least tastefully ignored.
It is, in the main, this reason that I happy to say this is the only forum I post on ---besides the odd broadside over at the CBC.
