Reuters: Car bomb attack on military in Turkish capital kills 28

Twenty-eight people were killed and dozens wounded in Turkey's capital Ankara on Wednesday when a car laden with explosives detonated next to military buses near the armed forces' headquarters, parliament and other government buildings.

The Turkish military condemned what it described as a terrorist attack on the buses as they waited at traffic lights in the administrative heart of the city.

A government spokesman said 28 people had been killed and 61 wounded in the blast, which took place near a busy intersection less than 500 metres from parliament during the evening rush hour.

James .... some are even wondering if this is a "red flag". My money is on the Islamic State or the Kurds. But .... an Assad/Putin hand cannot be dismissed either.

Nor can the MIT's.

It was awfully convenient that previous ISIS bombs targetted the political rallies of Egrodan's Opposition.

Ergodan's still alive, so that pretty much rules out Syrian Intelligence,

and th FSB and IRGC tend to go with shooters, not bombs.

I will wager that Turkey blames the Kurds...it would probably give Turkey the green light they need...

Seems like a convenient time for this to happen when Turkey is trying to gain support to cross the border. Retaliation from the PKK or the Turkish government. I believe Assad doesn't want to give Turkey a reason to cross the border.

So far, no Gavrilo Princep, Black Hand or George Washington* has shown up.

Never knew that about Washington! Dont be surprised when Washington decides to show up. All it takes is a small match to start a forest fire.
