U.S. Government To Release 911 Transcripts With Orlando Shooter. All References To The Islamic State Have Been Edited Out

Real Clear Politics: Lynch: "Partial Transcript" Of Orlando 911 Calls Will Have References To Islamic Terrorism Removed

In an interview with NBC's Chuck Todd, Attorney General Loretta Lynch says that on Monday, the FBI will release edited transcripts of the 911 calls made by the Orlando nightclub shooter to the police during his rampage.

"What we're not going to do is further proclaim this man's pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda," Lynch said. "We are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance [to the Islamic State]."

WNU Editor: My eyebrows went up when I read the above story that the 9/11 Orlando shooter transcripts were to be released but heavily edited will all references to ISIS and ISIS leader al-Baghdadi taken out. Why this case ... and not other cases where 9/11 transcripts of violent crimes have been released .... unedited. The official excuse is that they do not want to give propaganda credit to the Islamic State. But my gut tells me that the real reason is that it completely undercuts the government's case that this was not an attack by a radical Islamist. There is going to be blow-back from this government decision to edit these tapes .... Donald Trump is going to have a field day, and it discredits the government message that they are still investigating the motives of the shooter, while not making public the transcripts that appear to explain rather clearly what were his motives.
