Washington Post: A Trump administration thaw with Russia is ‘unacceptable,’ McCain says
Sen. John McCain, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, sent his first shot across the bow of President-elect Donald Trump’s national security plans Tuesday, saying that any attempt to “reset” relations with Russia is unacceptable.
“With the U.S. presidential transition underway, Vladimir Putin has said in recent days that he wants to improve relations with the United States,” McCain (R-Ariz.) said in a statement released by his office.
“We should place as much faith in such statements as any other made by a former KGB agent who has plunged his country into tyranny, murdered his political opponents, invaded his neighbors, threatened America’s allies and attempted to undermine America’s elections,” he said.

Can someone please put the old man out to retirement?!!? Preferably this should be done gracefully and with dignity for the old man. One way or the other this has to be done and the sooner the better!!
Perhaps he is senile or perhaps he is plain loony. Unfortunately such things happen to people when they age. Any of us could be there some day!!
With that said frankly at this point, I don't care what his problem is. The children in adult bodies and the just plain loony have been running things for quite awhile here. It's long past time for the adults to run things.
Goodbye already, John McCain.
Hes right on a lot of things, but not in this instance.

I second that.
I do not like Putin, but McCain is no intellectual powerhouse.
He is where he is because he was part of the lucky sperm club
McCain got fooled by some radical Islamists in the Syrian thing.
Fazman,
You are correct on McCain. Unfortunately he stopped being right on anything back in about 2004. At that time, he should have been retired with dignity. It is regrettable that the voters of AZ did not do this.
If there were a "hall of fame" for great Americans, he probably should be in it. Unfortunately his current level of stupidity risks undermining the good he has done. At this point, the old man needs to be removed by any means necessary.
Aizino,
I really don't like Putin either. Unfortunately the circumstances require that we have to deal with him. He is the most powerful man in the world and he isn't going anywhere. His assistance will be needed in a number of areas that are vital to our interests.
