The Hill: UK, US have vastly different estimates of total ISIS fighters killed
The U.S. and the United Kingdom have offered vastly different estimates of the number of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) fighters killed since the international coalition began bombing the group in 2014, according to CNN.
U.K. Defense Secretary Michael Fallon estimated on Thursday that 25,000 ISIS fighters had been killed during the campaign. He made the remark while speaking to reporters alongside Defense Secretary Ash Carter.
