WNU Editor: I discovered this video by accident this morning. This is a nuclear war scenario broadcast by the BBC. It is very realistic .... and scary .... very scary.

I know how you feel Anon. When I first saw the video I thought of putting it up as a practical joke .... then my better angels took over. I experienced a nuclear test broadcast when I was a teenager in Russia (sirens and all) ... and I thought it was real. It took me about 10 minutes to quickly determine that it was just a test (other radio stations were just broadcasting normal stuff that convinced me it was a test). But during those 10 minutes .... I was scared shit.

This is a spoof. Wasn't broadcast by the BBC! A very well made and well research piece of Russian psychological warfare. And you did well to post it, it's very instructive. BUT:

You'd better amend your comments and the post (to explain it's a total spoof), otherwise WNU will start looking like it's peddling Russian propaganda and helping psywar. Which I know you're not!

But a cruel daughter did tap it into her Dad's BBC watching to freak him out.
