Iran, China: 1938. We don't want to go to war because we fear war...of course. Exactly what we fear in 1938 at Munich. Bottom line we had war anyway, and in the worst condition. May be Westerns like that. Sad.

Both Munich and the Molotov Ribbentrop Pact were not signed to stave off war, but instead, buy time.

Wasn't enough time as Hitler had started his rearming in 1935, Britain, France and Poland had lagged behind.
