CNBC: Trump: Maybe 'fire and fury' statement on North Korea wasn't tough enough
* President Donald Trump says his "fire and fury" statement on North Korea may not have been tough enough
* He reportedly improvised the original line
* North Korea responded by saying it was considering a plan to attack the U.S. territory of Guam
President Donald Trump on Thursday ramped up his rhetoric on North Korea again, saying his warning of bringing "fire and fury" on the isolated nation may not have gone far enough.
"If anything, maybe that statement wasn't tough enough," he told reporters at his New Jersey golf club.
When asked what could be tougher than "fire and fury," the president responded: "we'll see." He also did not comment on whether the U.S. is considering a pre-emptive strike on North Korea.
On Tuesday, Trump strongly warned Pyongyang against threatening the United States in a reportedly improvised line.

WNU Editor: I have just watched a mini-Trump news conference on North Korea .... and he has doubled down on everything. The video is not available yet, but when it is I will be posting it right away. Here is an easy prediction .... the media is going to freak-out even more.

My prediction with 100% certainty nay 200% certainty the opposition press will say something negative.
And no one pays attention to anyone who says he's doing the right thing.
And yes he is doing the right thing.
the takeaway
sometimes guests wear ties; sometimes news anchors wear ties. Sometimes either one does not wear ties. Signiicance: THERE IS UNCERTAINTY IN THE WORLD OF FASHION FOR MEN AND I PREDICT THE CASUAL LOOK WILL TRIUMPH
I agree, how people can say otherwise is beyond me.
It's like a hostage situation here the guy has a gun to your head and threatens to pull the trigger.
The cops are paralysed with fear, police negotiations have broken down and now FINALLY someone is sending in swat BEFORE the trigger is pulled.
It's now confirmed that Obama knew about the level of threat and put it in the to hard basket and left it for another potus to deal with.
Jim,
You write "And yes he is doing the right thing." Very respectfully, how do you "know" this? Truthfully I don't "know" if this is the right approach. Since China and Russia have voted to back additional sanctions, he does have more room to "talk tough" as long as he can back it up with action. As to the first two sentences you wrote, I think you are spot on.
A member of the Administration Dr. Sebastian Gorka I think referred to the United States as a "hyper power." During the campaign candidate Trump discussed repeatedly the need to rebuild the military. Candidate Trump was right.
Unless he has somehow fixed the military in his brief time in office as he supposedly fixed the US nuclear arsenal then the facts on the ground have not changed. Since such claims are extraordinarily preposterous, extraordinary evidence would need to be presented to back them up and since such evidence has not been forthcoming the only logical conclusion would be that the claims are false.
Either Mr. Gorka was speaking on his own or he was speaking on behalf of POTUS. Hopefully he was speaking on his own. If not, then this would mean that the Trump train has jumped the tracks into insanity and is headed for a massive crash unless the train can somehow be brought back on the tracks.
I feel very safe with my beloved president at least he doesn't pay people off with money
