BRICS Leaders Are Expressing Their Concerns That Pakistan Is Supporting Militant Groups

DW: China's 'betrayal' - BRICS leaders slam Pakistan-based jihadi groups

The BRICS nations have expressed concern about Pakistan-based militant groups like LeT and the Haqqani Network. It is a diplomatic defeat for Islamabad, which heavily depends on Beijing's support amid a global isolation.

Pakistan's foreign policy in a nutshell: As long as China is backing us, we don't have to worry about the United States or the rest of the world. And that was exactly the official reaction after US President Donald Trump announced his Afghanistan policy last month, criticizing safe havens for Islamist terrorists on Pakistani soil.

While the Islamic country's politicians and government officials refuted Trump's claims that Pakistan was supporting militant groups near its border with Afghanistan, they heaved a sigh of relief when Chinese officials came to their support against Trump.

WNU Editor: Pakistan did not expect this. They are now denying these claims but this is a huge diplomatic blow .... Pakistan rejects BRICS claims on terror havens (Daily Times). On the flip side .... this is definitely a huge win for India, and it validates what President Trump said last month when he signaled out Pakistan for supporting terror groups.

Long before Trump noted that Pakistan supported terror, most of those who follow world affairs knew this, but, what, then, has been done about it? Of course, nothing. And why? Pakistan has nukes and we have to play nice with them.

Pakistan supporting terror groups is something China and India can agree on.

China too has a problem. Uighurs go to Pakistan and Afghanistan to train or get more 'religion'. Sooner or later they will go home and cause China problems.

If China has a problem with Pakistan, then it has a problem with North Korea. Pakistan and North Korea have supported each other in technical development. By not reining in their pitbull, China is feeding Pakistan.

Is There a Uighur Terrorist Buildup Taking Place in Southeast Asia?

"In fairness to China, there are legitimate terrorist groups with ties to Xinjiang. One group, the East Turkestan Islamic Movement, is based in Waziristan, in Northwest Pakistan, and has stated its goal is the independence of East Turkestan (the Uighur name for Xinjiang), as well as the conversion of all of China to Islam. While the ETIM has been accused repeatedly of terrorism — and has been designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the UN and U.S. State Department, it is unclear how much terrorism they actually do. "Pakistan has nukes and we have to play nice with them. "

Hitler had the bomb.

We did not play nice with him.

(Japan may have had it too.)

For 11 years, North Korea had the bomb and certain people said "They have the bomb we have to be nice to them".

They did not have the means to deliver it.

Now that they 50%/505 have the bomb and the delivery means according to these people do we have to be super-duper nice?

Hitler did not have the bomb. He tried and then abandoned getting it. The first nuclear device was exploded by Americans @ Trinity site. That's what the Manhattan project was about. To be the first. They were the first. Then the Russians. Germany never had the bomb. You must confuse it with German scientists who developed the bomb, but those were in the US, working for the US.

If the Germans did conduct a test in Thuringia, it was some sort of nuke.

1) Evidence against it would be Niels Bohr was barking up the wrong tree. The German nuclear pile did not look promising.

2) There were leaks about the German bomb program by a physicist or intel officer to the British.

That the Germans did not develop the bomb 1st seems to be more luck than anything else.
