President Trump Will Not Certify Iran Nuclear Deal. U.S. Treasury Imposes Sanctions On Iran's Revolutionary Guards

FOX News: Trump decertifies Iran nuclear deal, slaps sanctions on IRGC in broadside at ‘radical regime’

President Trump announced plans Friday to decertify the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, saying he believes the “radical regime” has committed multiple violations of the agreement as he kicked a decision over whether to restore sanctions back to Congress.

“I am announcing today that we cannot and will not make this certification,” Trump said during a speech at the White House. “We will not continue down a path whose predictable conclusion is more violence, more terror, and the very real threat of Iran's nuclear breakthrough.”

Friday's announcement does not withdraw the United States from the Iran deal, which the president called “one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into.”

But the president threatened that he could still ultimately pull out of the deal.

For a business man, he hasn't done much business. This speech is half propaganda half military tactics. Biggest sponsor of terrorism is debatably the US, Irans Revolutionary guards, if like Syria's are your upper rank political soldiers. Trumps military strategies seem scattered and weak, i guess the scramble is how to you balance the huge over expenditure on military assets you can't even open supply lines such as the silk road.

I’m curious to see if Iran will follow through with its threats.... I’m guessing no

I'm guessing no also. Trumps strategy is anything but half naked, he is calling bluffs left ,right and centre.
How they can they be interpreted as scattered and weak when those on the receiving end consistently fail to respond.

Iran doesn't have to "follow through".

It's the 5+1 Agreement.

Russia, China, Britain and France, ( thus the EU) are still in.

Russia, China, Britain and France, with the US "out", will have no issue with Iran reinrichment bumping in 2022, under the treaty, as only the US was "worried" about Iran making it's own fast bleeder fuel and medical isotopes.

The IAEC will continue monitoring and inspections,

Russia, China, France for sure, and thus the UNSC, will not tie Iran's Ballistic Missile Program down with linkage,

And the US will be left with Saudi Arabia, Israel and the UAE, who wrote most of Trump's speech as Global Allies.

Little Kim got all the proof he needs that agreements with the US are worthless.

The US Congress can save the US's reputation, by passing an amendment that removes Presidential Certification from the deal, thus taking off Trump's hands,

But they won't.

To me the main issue is the exclusion of military bases to inspection.
How is that not a get out of jail card for iran?,who signed of in that clause?.
It's like a major drug dealer telling DEA you can search my house but you can't search the garage!

Military bases are subject to inspection, if there is a provable nuclear link.

Funny thing that, after 92,856 fake "nuclear and CBW" "tips" from the USA, that lead to "nothingburger", the UNSC and the IAEC have raised the bar for "claims".

So, it's more like the 79,462 violent DEA/Swat team raids in the past 20 years raiding tomato growers resulting in the deaths of 922 gardeners.
