The Husband Of The Freed Kidnapped U.S.-Canadian Family In Pakistan Has Some Interesting Family Commections

Reuters: Pakistan official details car chase that freed kidnapped U.S.-Canadian family

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistani troops shot out the tires of a vehicle carrying a kidnapped U.S.-Canadian couple and their children in a raid that led to the family’s release, a Pakistani security official said on Friday.

The operation late on Wednesday freed American Caitlan Campbell, her Canadian husband Joshua Boyle and their three children who were born in captivity following five years as hostages of the Taliban-linked Haqqani network.

Taliban sources said the family spent most of their captivity at Haqqani strongholds inside Pakistan, and not in Afghanistan as early Pakistani reports had indicated.

A senior Pakistani security source on Friday detailed how the family, who were expected to leave Pakistan on Friday, were freed following a car chase in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal region bordering Afghanistan.

WNU Editor: Found this interesting piece of information concerning the husband of this couple (from Vice Canada) ....

.... Boyle was previously married to Zaynab Khadr, the sister of Canadian man Omar Khadr, who was held in Guantanamo Bay after being shot and detained during a firefight in Afghanistan when he was 15 years old. He pleaded guilty to war crimes in exchange to return to Canada to serve out his sentence. Khadar recently received an apology from the Canadian government and a multi-million dollar settlement for the violation of his rights as he was a child when he was detained by U.S. forces.

So who is Omar Khadr .... Canadian Government Formally Apologizes To Omar Khadr And Compensates Him With $10.5 Million (July 7, 2017). More here .... The Victims Of Former Guantanamo Bay Prisoner Omar Khadr's Crimes Are Petitioning The Courts For His $10.5 Million Canadian Government Pay-off (July 5, 2017).

So we have Joshua Boyle take his then pregnant wife in 2012 to go to Afghanistan for a hike!?!?!?! They get captured and during their imprisonment have 2 more kids?!?!?! And while kept as hostages demand the release of Taliban fighters in exchange for their own. And now Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) spy-agency .... who have a long history of supporting the group that held this U.S.-Canadian family .... are boasting of their rescue of this family but are admitting that they were not able to capture any of the kidnappers during this daring rescue attempt. I know I have been accused of being a cynic at times, but am I the only one who sees something wrong with this story?

"So we have Joshua Boyle take his then pregnant wife in 2012 to go to Afghanistan for a hike!?!?!?! "

These are the usual lame excuses.

Like I went to Afghanistan or Yemen to study Islam, because ... like ...ya know ... it was not possible to study at AL Hazhar university in Egypt or Morocco or any of a number of safer, non-Al Qaeda linked places.

"In 1998, Lindh" a.k.a Rat Boy raised by good granola crunching, liberal parents in Marin county in the land of Californica
" traveled to Yemen and stayed for about 10 months to learn Arabic so that he could read the Qur'an in its original language."

Maybe Joshua Boyle and John Walker Lindh can go hiking together.

"Lindh went by the name Sulayman al-Faris during his time in Afghanistan, but prefers the name Abu Sulayman al-Irlandi today ...

According to an internal report by the National Counterterrorism Center, Lindh told a visiting television news producer that he has not renounced extremist violence.] Lindh secured Irish citizenship in 2013 through his paternal grandmother, Kathleen Maguire, who was born in Donegal."

Well, it look like liberal John's parents raised him right & proper.

"US FBI investigators have concluded that the kidnapping of Boyle and his wife was unrelated to his first marriage and have described it as "a horrible coincidence".[16][17][18] The Canadian RCMP agrees with the FBI assesment;[19][20] Boyle and his wife have been described as innocents and "harmless hippies" by a former Canadian senior intelligence officer familiar with the case.[21][22]"

Gee, Jay you sound out of breath. Sit for a while and catch your breath.

What this shows is that Boyle is a world class idiot and a 1st class liberal.

LMAO,

They wern't even supposed to be in Afghanistan, but CIA and Pakistati Frontier Forces killings in the Au Shot Valley, closed the road through Pakistan's FTA, so they had to detour through Afghanistan.

Thay's why they want a direct flight from Karachi, to Canada, and not a detour through Kabul, once bitten, badly, twice shy.

Coming up on 17 years now, tired of all the winning yet?

I came because I had done a search for more info about Boyle and was pretty amused by the line popping up in google about Boyle and John Walker Lindh going hiking.

But I think you might acknowledge that Boyle is a religious conservative who initially bonded with Ms. Khadr because of their shared interest in anti-abortion politics. There are patriots from both sides of politics, and traitors on both sides as well.

"After his release he explained that his mission was humanitarian in nature, to help "the most neglected minority group in the world, those ordinary villagers who live deep inside Taliban-controlled Afghanistan."

So a sick, twisted liberal decided to go Mother Theresa in a place with a known criminal gang, The Haqqanni network.

1st it refutes Jay’s claim that the purpose of Boyle being there was to hike. His trollery just goes down in flames. But as we say BS walks. Jay is a-walking.

Boyle was a paci-sick and probably a Muslim convert. The paci-sick part is really twisted. Boyle met his wife over Star Wars. The protagonists in Star Wars do fight. They fight to make the galaxy (a fictional) safe. So Bolye loves the ideas of noble warriors (Jedi) & others (The Rebels) fighting & killing (hundreds of thousands at a time) to make the galaxy safe, but on Earth IRL, not so much. Boyle also read up on Islam and his co-workers noted that he took breaks at the appropriate times for the 5 daily prayers.
Boyle just did not accidental trip and end up in Afghanistan. It costs 1,000 dollars to fly from Montreal (or similar city) to Karachi. There was a visa involved also. So he lied to officials in Canada and Pakistan about the nature of his business.

The Afghan-Pakistan border is 1,500 miles long and has 13 border posts or 1 for every 115 miles. It would have been real easy for a knothead like Boyle to bypass one of those posts especially at night.

1) Angur Ada
2) Bab-i-Pakistan
3) Broghol
4) Dashti Yahudi
5) Dorah Pass
6) Ghulam Khan
7) Gomal Pass
8) Khyber Pass
9) Lataband Pass
10) Peiwar Pass
11) Torkham
12) Usheri Pass
13) Wesh–Chaman border crossing

Boyle could’ve joined the UN to provide aid to the most needy. If he UN would haven’t taken the snowflake, then he may have been able to join an NGO.

“According to Afghan and US officials, the incident started after US-Afghan coalition forces, which were conducting an operation against the Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan's eastern Kunar Province, were fired upon from border positions within Pakistan.[12][20][21][22] "There was firing coming from the position against Afghan army soldiers who requested support", said one Afghan official in Kabul.[20] The Afghan official further stated they were being fired upon directly from a Pakistani military outpost itself.[23] A Western official backed up that view by stating, "They were fired on from a Pakistani army base." And, "It was a defensive action."[20] According to Afghan and US accounts helicopters were then called in for support against the incoming fire.[20][24][25]
A Pakistani defence official reportedly admitted that soldiers in the Pakistani border post sitting there for the express purpose of stopping infiltration fired a few flares, a couple of mortar rounds and one or two bursts of machine-gun fire in that direction

Were these border posts ever abandoned? Is this the area the Muslim convert & pacifist Boyle crossed into Afghanistan?
