Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to respond to the 11-minute suspension of his account by an employee of the social media company on their last day of work.

The account belonging to the US President and prolific tweeter disappeared briefly on Thursday (US time).

Twitter initially posted a statement saying Mr Trump's "account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee".

WNU Editor: It looks like an employee .... on his last day on the job .... decided to deactivate the account. Many in the media are making light of this incident .... but what would have happened if this employee had posted a tweet that could have have a caused a real crisis. Such as .... I am about to declare war against ____. Or .... I am firing the Mueller Commission and all officials in the Justice Department. Or .... because of the Mueller Counsel I am resigning the Office of the U.S. President. Or something like this .... intelligent space aliens exist.

Update: Yup .... Why it should worry you that Trump's Twitter feed went down (CNN).
