Tehran Times: Huge turnout in marches marking Islamic Revolution anniversary
The people from all walks of life took part in the rallies in more than 1000 cities and towns across the country.
The Bahman 22 in the Iranian calendar year, which mostly fall on Feb. 11, is synonymous with the Islamic Revolution. On this date in 1979, after a long struggle, Iranians succeeded to overthrow the dictatorial regime of Mohammad-Reza Pahlavi, the last monarch of Iran, and establish a democratic government instead.
The massive marches in this year’s rallies were highly significant especially after U.S. President Donald used the nearly one-week protests in Iran in in late December and early January as a pretext to divide the Iranian nation through his inflammatory tweets.

WNU Editor: You would think that after 39 years of denouncing the U.S. and Israel the Iranians would be getting tired of this. Apparently not.

There are few countries that learned the lesson well, have nothing to do with the US and Iran is certainly the leader in this respect.
Yes one would think the Iranian leadership woukd "tire" of this. Unfortunately they need a "demon" in order to remain in power. To this end, they must concoct fantastic tales of partial truths regarding America and Israel overstating American involvement in some things and inventing it wholesale in other areas.
Isreal and America make perfect foreign devils. Israel is to small and is to busy with issues closer to home to do anything about this. America is to divided and is to besieged by messaging problems to pose any sort of threat to Iran. Besides this Iran has Russia and China behind them making confronting them extremely difficult even if ghe foreign devils actually could overcome the challenges that make any kind of confrontation of Iran all but impossible.
Iran can easily have peace with America very quickly. Take all outstanding isdues to a UN tribunal. They won't. Right now they need a foreign devil.
From an American perspective, I see two basic problems with this approach. 1.) Due to rampant anti-Americanism, at this time, such a tribunal will simply rubber stamp whatever Iran wants. 2.) Should the tribunal side in some way with America there are no mechanisms in place to ensure Iranian compliance. In other words if the tribunal finds Iran owes us in some way, how do we collect? As such, American leaders should use extreme caution before voluntarily submitting to something like this.
Actually I don't think this kind of boorish behavior by Iran could be maintained without their Russian and Chinese allies enabling this to some extent. If I were in US leadership, I would persue a policy of trying to improve relations with their allies, specifically Russia and China. Perhaps they would help us reign this in.
The rhetoric against America by countries like Iran and North Korea appears similar to the rhetoric employed by Nazi Germany against the Jews in the run up to the Holocaust. The world needs to put a stop to this.
