The FBI And YouTube Were Warned On How Dangerous Nikolas Cruz Was To The Public Last Year

BuzzFeed: The FBI Was Warned About A School Shooting Threat From A YouTube User Named Nikolas Cruz In September

In September, a YouTube user named Nikolas Cruz left a comment on a video stating: "I'm going to be a professional school shooter." The video's creator alerted both the FBI and YouTube.

Last fall, a Mississippi bail bondsman and frequent YouTube vlogger noticed an alarming comment left on one of his videos. "I'm going to be a professional school shooter," said a user named Nikolas Cruz.

The YouTuber, 36-year-old Ben Bennight, alerted the FBI, emailing a screenshot of the comment to the bureau's tips account. He also flagged the comment to YouTube, which removed it from the video.

Agents with the bureau's Mississippi field office got back to him "immediately," Bennight said, and conducted an in-person interview the following day, on Sept. 25.

WNU Editor: These stories always break my heart. I pray for the families who have been destroyed with the deaths of their loved ones, and a speedy recovery for those who have been wounded. But what is galling about this case is that everyone knew .... and the warnings were issued that he was a threat. And what is even more sad is that this type of crime is not the first .... and it will not be last.

FBI was too busy trying to torpedo Trump to be bothered with leftist nutcases

Bill: you mean investigating clearances that White House then ignored?
19 year old a leftist nut case...you know him?
evidence fbi is political wing of Democrats? then why are so many Trump people being charges, investigagted, being called up? all innocent, right.

They "knew" that he was a potential killer but what could they legally do to stop him in advance?

"Jereb said that Cruz was associated with ROF, having been “brought up” by another membe. Jereb added that Cruz had participated in one or more ROF training exercises in the Tallahassee area, carpooling with other ROF members from south Florida.

ROF has members in north and south Florida. The alt right white supremacist group borrows paramilitary concepts from the anti-government extremist militia movement (not itself a white supremacist movement). ROF describes itself as a “white civil rights organization fighting for white identitarian politics” and seeks to create a “white ethnostate” in Florida. Most ROF members are young and the group itself is only a few years old."

Nothing. The right for a mentally ill Nazi to buy a bumpstock Black gun, 17 high capacity mags and 1,500 rounds of .223 shall not be infringed because of the 2nd Amendment which states that the NRA can give legislators tons of free money, distributed from their members, gun manufacturers, ISIS and Russia.

Or as the evergreen headline from the Onion, run 2.5 times a week so far this year, states,

"No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens"

The vast majority of mass-shootings in the US over the last 25 years do have something in common: psychotropic drugs - either currently using, or had been using. See the Black Box warning labels.

and, too, the vast majority of mass-shootings of guns were assault-type weapons. And the shooter could legally buy that and, and Jeff Sessions implies gangs responsible, and Trump people refuse to release photo of Trump signing bill to dump Obama No Guns for mentally ill.

"Former Rep. David Jolly (R-Fla.) on Wednesday argued American voters must flip the House of Representatives to a Democratic majority if they want Congress to address gun control in the wake of a Florida high school shooting that left at least 17 people dead and others injured.

“And so if this is the issue that defines your ideology as a voter, there are two things I would suggest tonight. First, flip the House. Flip the House,” Jolly told “CNN Tonight.” “Republicans are not going to do a single thing after this shooting we saw today. But I would also offer to Democrats, work for incremental wins.”

For a white nationalist/Nazi he was sure killing a lot of white people. In an upper middle class white neighborhood.

"Local law enforcement sources have not found a connection between accused Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz and a Tallahassee-based paramilitary group.

Leon County law enforcement sources told the Tallahassee Democrat that they could not find information linking Cruz, 19, to the Republic of Florida Militia, as claimed by the group’s self-proclaimed leader Jordan Jereb.

His comments to the Anti-Defamation League and The Associated Press set off a media firestorm Thursday at about midday that Cruz was connected to the alt-right, white nationalist group.

Hours after news outlets around the nation reported Cruz's alleged ties, Leon County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Grady Jordan told the Tallahassee Democrat investigative work did not yield any connections.

“We are still doing some work but we have no known ties between the ROF, Jordan Jereb or the Broward shooter,” Jordan said."

And another hateful Leftist fabrication bites the dust.

Again we are failed by the federal agencies in this mass murder. This Nikolas Cruz was on the radar locally and had made comments on youtube known to the FBI.

“I’m going to be a professional school shooter.”

And was able to legally purchase an AR-15 AFTER being expelled from school. No effort at all by the FBI to back track the name "Nikolas Cruz" or associated IP addresses.

It's ironic that in the US, you can post death threats online, get "investigated" by the FBI, buy a "black gun", 17 extended magazines, 1500 rounds of .223 ammo, kill 17 people, all before you are legally allowed to drink.

Jay Farquharson said...

Wouldn't have mattered.

In Florida, being over 18, but not yet 21, failing having a felony conviction, he could buy all the "black guns", ammo and extended magazines he wanted.

He could have been a mentally ill drooling ISIS wannabe with thousands of posts, and the only law standing in his way, was you have to be 21 to buy a handgun.

Can't infringe on a domestic terrorist's right to bear arms, you know, until after the "thougt's and prayers" part,

RussInSoCal said...

Another thing to look at is the likely prescriptions of psychotropic drugs. EG: Adderall, Zoloft, etc...

Mix in some opioids and cannabis as well. He can be compelled to take the prescribed drugs until he turned 18. Then quits cold turkey. Harris/Klebold Littleton CO, James Holms Aurora CO, Seung-Hui Cho VA Tech, Adam Lanza Sandyhook.

This article is a good source on Cruz.

https://news.vice.com/en_us/article/kzp7yw/nikolas-cruz-florida-shooter-guns-knives-hunting
As Angelina Lazo fled in terror from her school, trying to calm classmates also running from the horrific shooting in South Florida Wednesday, she realized something.

She knew the suspected gunman.

Nikolas de Jesus Cruz, the alleged shooter responsible for the deaths of at least 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in the deadliest school rampage since Sandy Hook, had been in her sophomore biology class.

“I told my friends, ‘This is who he is, this is what he looks like,’” Lazo said. “He is so distinctive.”

It is interesting to note that leftists will howl "gun control" and "Nazi" when these mass murders occur. Neither of which is the solution or the cause.

Democrat's dwindling powerbase is now concentrated in dense urban centers. Places which have the strictest gun laws in the country AND simultaneously the highest gun murder rates. The true racism is the media and political blackout of the numbers of killings taking place in Chicago, St. Louis, Wash DC, Detroit, Oakland, Baltimore, etc. All run by hard-left collectivist politicians for decades. Poverty stricken, gang-ridden cities.

Braying that you and I need to be disarmed for the criminal actions of their peers.

Not gonna happen.

From what I understand around 70% of the American public owns a gun. The idea that they will vote for a politician that will take their guns away from them (or impose restrictions) .... not gonna happen.

Personally, as an outsider looking at the U.S. .... I have always found the American culture towards guns disturbing. But it is part of the culture .... even more so in the past than today. But I do sense it is different today with these mass shootings .... and I guess there are many reasons why. Social-cultural factors, the accepted use of pharmaceuticals (both legal and illegal) and their connection to many of these shootings, and economic.

What is also different today is the politicization of the issue .... both in the media and among politicians. But like in the past .... this story will past by, no solutions will be offered that will acceptable by most Americans, and the story will die until the next mass shooting where the outrage will continue.
