When Law Enforcement Fails: The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting

WNU Editor: I have stayed away from this story .... there is a lot of coverage and commentary out there, and my input would have only added to the noise. But this is just terrible .... More deputies accused of waiting outside during school shooting (Sun Sentinel). More here .... Sources: Coral Springs police upset at some Broward deputies for not entering school (CNN). And why did the FBI not respond to these warnings .... FBI tipster warned Nikolas Cruz was 'going to explode' and shoot up a school weeks before Parkland massacre (NYDaily News). More here .... FBI tip line caller described Nikolas Cruz as 'about to explode' (CNN). There is going to be a lot of soul-searching on this one in the coming weeks and months, and the final report is probably going to be very critical of the Broward Police Department.

As to what can I add to the discussion ....

I had just started working at ICAO (the U.N.'s aviation arm) in Montreal at the end of 1989 when this massacre occurred at one of the city's universities .... École Polytechnique massacre (Wikipedia). The killer entered the university and deliberately targeted and killed 14 women and wounding scores of others before he killed himself. The Montreal Police did the same thing that the Broward deputies did when they arrived at the scene .... they did not enter the building but focused instead on making a perimeter, but this only permitted the killer to kill more. After the massacre and the completion of the investigation, the Montreal Police made a change in policy .... when a shooting event occurs in a public place, you do not set-up a perimeter, you storm the building right away. This change in policy made a difference 17 years later when another gunman decided to enter a college to kill students .... Dawson College shooting. The police stormed the building right away, and were able to quickly trap him in the cafeteria that ended when he took his own life. There was one fatality and a number of wounded, but it could have been far worse if the police did not react as they did. I was only two blocks away when this occurred .... I did not hear the shots, but I will never forget how the police responded as quickly as they did.

@WNU, I agree, a perimeter is a bad idea IF you know it's a single shooter (which seems to often be the case in school shootings).. However, if it's terrorism, a perimeter could indeed make sense.

I applaud the officers who do in fact storm a school or university in hopes to take out a gunman, risking their own lives. It's freaking heroic, even if you are paid to do it - keep in mind, most officers usually just carry a 9mm and perhaps (or perhaps not) wear their vests at the time.

Facing a heavily armed gunman - sporting an automatic rifle and perhaps not caring about his own life (and clearly out to kill as many people as possible), with just a 9mm is freaking heroic. It's near suicidal, unless the gunman had not practiced shooting and your own training allows you to outmatch him. This is by no means guaranteed. On top, these gun nuts sometimes wear Kevlar when they commit these crimes.. you do not know this as a single police man, and that's why I think it's incredible how quickly they condemned that one police officer on national TV, and by the president, as coward. WTF. The police officer in question looks like he was >50years old. At 50, training or not, officer or not, you cannot be expected to move as quickly and take cover as quickly etc as say a 20 or 30 or even 40 year old police officer. Age just does set in and we have to be respectful of that. I do not know the details, I admit, I will look at CCTV to see what the police officer did.. but unless it shows him having a coffee or -not at all- trying to get info on the situation, it is indeed reckless to talk about him like that.

Can you imagine being a police officer, serving your community your entire life, risking your life every freaking day just by putting on the uniform (think of all the police officer assassination style murders lately), and then one day there's a heavily armed shooter - you can tell by the speed of the shots obviously - and then you wait a bit and suddenly the whole nation brands you as a coward? This is insane.. not everyone loves children, not everyone wants to risk their lives all day. Absolutely, he might have done a terrible job that day, but facing a heavily armed shooter with a 9mm is heroic. The opposite is not necessarily cowardliness, that's all I'm saying.. especially as we all don't know what happened in detail. Maybe he had a bad leg, or whatever... just incredible judging a man like this before all facts are known. (obviously not saying you have.. more making remarks about the media and the president)

Could you gives a look ?

If you're not able to risk your life to save children don't be a Policeman or change job if you're not more able to do it. Leave the place for real heroes. Don't be selfish in waiting for retired time cause at you can see it could cost children lifes.

this shooting represents a failure on many fronts:
39 complaints and warnings ignored locally
a few calls to FBI ignored
easy access to assault weapon
no metal detectors and id for entrance to school
failure of armed security to do what he was to do
ps: he was not a muslim

École Polytechnique massacre follow up a pattern of antifeminism and anti-woman
Other in the same line are :-

Aizino,
Did you read the link you post about École Polytechnique massacre

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/École_Polytechnique_massacre

Here an excerpt :-
"He began his attack by entering a classroom at the university, where he separated the male and female students. After claiming that he was "fighting feminism" and calling the women "a bunch of feminists," he shot all nine women in the room, killing six."
This is in the beginning paragraph.
Key words : fighting feminism , bunch of feminism
2014 Isla Vista killings

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Isla_Vista_killings

An Excerpt :-
"He explained that he wanted to punish women for rejecting him and that he envied sexually active men so he wanted to punish them for their sexual activity."

I would also recommend searching about group like "MGTOW","INCEL". roger was member of the latter group .
These group are women hate group and have a very wide presence in the net

"The attack began when Rodger stabbed three men to death in his apartment"
#FAIL

this is very weird , so if the killer killed a single man in the attack then it is not a woman hate attack
Because the intent was clear
The most relevant Excerpt
" The Second Phase will take place on the Day of Retribution itself, just before the climactic massacre. ... My War on Women. ... I will attack the very girls who represent everything I hate in the female gender: The hottest sorority of UCSB."
This from his so called manifesto
And what happened
"Rodger drove to the Alpha Phi sorority house at Embarcadero del Norte and Segovia Road near the University of California Santa Barbara. He knocked on the sorority house door for a few minutes. After no one answered, he began shooting people who were nearby"

Finally my original post stand , many of these shooting specially those target women cant be blamed on foreign culture influence .
This is home grown problem .

Marc Lepine's religious background was not an issue in École Polytechnique massacre . He had a loathing for women that is difficult to describe, and like a lot of serial killers he targeted women, but in this case his rage happened on one night.

On a side note. I actually met the person who sold Marc Lepine his rifle. His store was on St. Hubert street in Montreal, and I got to know him after I had purchased a rifle from him for hunting (this is just after I had became a citizen, and I wanted to go up north and hunt caribou with an Inuit senator who was also my friend). To make a long story short .... this dealer wanted me to introduce him to my Chinese contacts so that he could manufacture knock-off clones of rifles/shotguns to his network in the U.S. The money that he was offering me at the time was incredible .... and I was hurting financially at the time. I did think about it .... but I declined that offer. I could have multi-millions out of that deal .... but I sleep well at night. I have no regrets.

Democrat Party: Home of the racists.

http://dailycaller.com/2018/03/04/danny-davis-louis-farrakhan-jewish-question/

"DEM CONGRESSMAN CORRECTS ADL'S CLAIM THAT HE ISN'T INTO FARRAKHAN"

"Democratic Illinois Rep. Danny Davis defended Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan as an “outstanding human being” on Monday.

Farrakhan’s history of racially extreme comments includes blaming Jews for the September 11 attacks, saying white people “deserve to die” and praising Adolf Hitler as a “very great man.”

“I personally know [Farrakhan], I’ve been to his home, done meetings, participated in events with him,” Davis told TheDC."

"Democratic Illinois Rep. Danny Davis confirmed in an interview Sunday that he has a personal relationship with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a notorious anti-Semite, and said he isn’t bothered by Farrakhan’s position on “the Jewish question.”

Farrakhan has repeatedly denounced Jews as “satanic,” praised Hitler as a “very great man” and has said that white people “deserve to die.”"

Time and time again, I hear reports of 'a scheduled drill' at the time and place of the shooting. That includes the British killings around the time of 9/11...and this one as well. It's enough to make one suspicious of Gladio / false flag black operations.
