NYMag: The Campaign for Donald Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize Has Begun
On Friday, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and South Korean president Moon Jae-in came together for a historic meeting that resulted in a once-unimaginable pledge: The two nations will work to officially end the Korean War and denuclearize the peninsula.
Who deserves credit for this momentous meeting and the push toward peace? Donald Trump, says South Korean foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha. “He’s been determined to come to grips with this from day one,” she recently told CNN.
And he may soon have a Nobel Peace Prize to show for it. Trump and Kim are currently the favorites to win the prize, according to one British oddsmaker, and some of Trump’s aides are telling reporters that a lasting thaw between North and South Korea should win Trump the award.

Even he reach a good deal it is not enough...but may be so. After all Obama had a Nobel Price before he did anything... means Trump deserve a Nobel Price even he fails. That's just fair.

By real rules Trump has not earned one until he gits r done.

Now I don't give a hoot who gets nobel for anything...that stuff a fraud...but thus far it is the North and the South that have met...not Trump...Smith: you need to loosen up and stop blaming all things on "liberals." Why? What has been accomplished by Trump and gang in Afghanistan and in Iraq and in Syria thus far? Yes. Over a year since Trump and Friends in power. 1) That liberal apply a double standard is not only well known and an often told joke/remark,. but the way it is.
2) Being bellicose or whatever you call it is most appropriate. When leaders especially Republican leaders are so circumspect that they a universal welcome mats, then sharp NYC elbows is where it is at.
If Chamberlain had not been so timorously nice in 1938, Czechoslovakia and Poland would not have been invaded.

3) Verbal threats need to issued to dictators. They cannot feel it is safe to fight to the last 18 year old or 12 year old and then retire to Riyadh or Holland, when they lose.
4) It is a well known fact that Obama was handed a Nobel Peace Prize just for showing up. That was more obvious than the judging of figure skating during the Cold War.
5) You have an English PhD and have not published much and here you are lecturing about psychology.
