WNU editor: The AP believes that President Trump's doctrine is risky .... Trump’s high-risk doctrine? Swing for the bleacher seats (Catherine Lucey, Jonathan Lemire and Ken Thomas, AP). My take is a little different .... he is trying to implement the policies that he promised in the last election. Where it becomes risky is if he should decide to break this bond with his supporters .... which I do not see happening at this moment of time. But I will admit that I did not expect President Trump to be as successful as he has been in implementing his policies. While the media has been focused on Russia-Gate, impeachment, Stormy Daniels, etc. .... President Trump has more or less eliminated many of the policies that President Obama passed via through executive action, while having many of his own policies implemented via through Congress. For a high risk doctrine .... it is working for him, and it is frustrating his opponents.
