Donald Trump has threatened Kim Jong-un with the same fate as Muammar Gaddafi if the North Korean leader “doesn’t make a deal” on his nuclear weapons programme.
The US president issued the threat at the White House when he was asked about the recent suggestion by his national security adviser, John Bolton, that the “Libyan model” be a template for dealing with North Korea at a summit between Trump and Kim planned for 12 June in Singapore.

During second talk with Xi, something was said that makes Kim now act completely differently
Scenarios
1. China promises protection (most likely - most dangerous to us all however, as we'll then see a larger war scenario in a few months on the Korean peninsula, with China getting involved to)
2. China and Kim agreed on extracting the highest cost from the US and split the spoils (somewhat likely and can be combined with point 1)
In either case, Xi better be very careful here. He is literally playing with fire. Once Trump gets to know the details of this talks and what Xi did, the gloves will come off. Trump does not like China. Xi should be smarter.
