South Korean Reports: North Korean Leader Kim Has Reportedly Agreed To Meet President Trump At The DMZ

CNN: Kim Jong Un agrees to meet Donald Trump at DMZ, source says

South Korean President Moon Jae-in has convinced North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to hold his upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump at the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreas, a source tells CNN.

Moon and Kim met at the same location in Panmunjom last Friday, a historically significant event that was televised worldwide and led to an agreement to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula and formally end the Korean War.

There is a "strong possibility" the summit will be held at the site, with some events possibly scheduled on the northern side of the military demarcation line separating the two countries, according to an official with deep knowledge of North Korea's thinking on the matter.

WNU Editor: No official announcements yet .... and while the DMZ is not have my first choice (Singapore is), I do appreciate the optics of President Trump crossing into North Korea being not only a historical sight to see, but one that will define his legacy on foreign affairs.

Amazing spectacle it will be.
I imagine the US Secret Service will be crazed dealing with all the what if scenarios. I'd want North Korea under 24x7 drone and spy plane monitoring from now til Trump is returning and over Japan. Having a regiment of armor near by too with F-35's and F-22's in the air as they escort B-2's and B-1's not far offshore.
