* Only nine per cent of suspects in all crimes are being caught and punished
Less than one in 20 street robberies and burglaries are being solved in the UK, shocking new figures have revealed.
Official police data shows that just four per cent of robberies and three per cent of burglaries were solved in England and Wales in 2017.
The figures will fuel concerns that there is a crisis in the nation's policing, with one MP describing London as 'the Wild West'.

WNU Editor: I live in Montreal .... if you experience a property crime here (i.e. someone slashes your car tires or breaks into your home) .... the police will not show up, you will have to go to the police station to report the crime and get the necessary paper-work to claim your insurance. I have been fortunate .... my home is like Fort-Knox .... my neighbors .... not so lucky. And yes .... we are also experiencing a crime wave in this city. On the other side of the planet .... in my other home in Moscow .... at least in my area crime is non-existent. Reason .... heavy police presence, and when you commit the crime and you are caught .... you will do the time.

What could you expect when you import the third world
I read an article about this subject a while ago. It had an incident were a garage had been broken into and when the home owner called the police he said whoever it was had taken all of his guns. A couple hours later a cop showed up at his door with a partially completed report about the theft of guns. The cop was disappointed to learn that the "guns" were work tools, staple guns, nailing guns etc. but he finished the report and gave the guy a copy.

Gun deaths are up in the US and so we must be importing 3rd world people
Some time ago in a neighboring township the police reduced break and enters by 97%. They caught three teens responsible for the steep increase in such crime and who had been trained by a career B&E guy. He was the recipient of all the loot stolen over a year and a half and had the contacts to sell the stuff.
