The U.S. government has approved Canada’s purchase of used F-18 fighter jets from Australia, paving the way for the deal to be completed by the end of the year.

Dan Le Bouthillier of the Department of National Defence said Friday negotiations with Australia over the sale of the 25 used fighter jets is on-going.

Why are we buying used jets? with all the money we give away to the rest of the world and the amount of oil and gas in the ground.... this is pathetic.
So I assume Canada has a workable CAP for 1 of its 3 coasts?
It is pathetic. Canada can give 10,000,000 Cdn to a terrorist but has to buy USED jets. True North WEAK and SOCIALIST !
