U.S. Midterm Elections: Live Updates
22:30 EST: Calling it a night. A complete news round-up on today's midterm elections will be posted tomorrow morning.
22:17 EST: It looks like the Republicans are going to gain about 4 or 5 Senate seats.
22:15 EST: It looks like the Democrats will control the House of Representatives with a comfortable 20 seat majority after tonight's election.
22:12 EST: ABC News projects Senator Ted Cruz will win his senate seat.
21:33 EST: Democrat Senator Bob Menendez from the state of New Jersey is projected to be re-elected.
21:30 EST: In the state of Indiana, Republican Mike Braun has defeated Democrat and Senate incumbent Joe Donnelly.
21:20 EST: NBC News estimates Democrats likely to reclaim House majority
21:10 EST: It looks like Democrat Stacey Abrams' run in Georgia to be the first Black female Governor in U.S. history will fall short. With 30% of the votes counted, she is 210,000 votes behind.
21:06 EST: The polls have closed in New York state. The House districts to watch are New York 19, and New York 22. If the Republicans lose in these districts, it is very unlikely that they will be able to hold the House.
20:55 EST: With 51% of the votes already counted in the Senate race in Texas, Beto O'Rourke is leading incumbent Ted Cruz by 85,000 votes. A lot of districts with heavy numbers of Republican voters have yet to report their count, but this is a huge lead for the Democrat challenger. If he is able to hang on and win (which I still doubt), he will be the main story of this election along with the Democrats winning control of the House (if current trends continue).
20:47 EST: With 95% of the votes counted in the Florida Governor's race, Republican Ron DeSantis is 95,000 votes ahead of Democrat Andrew Gillum.
20:46 EST: With 95% of the votes counted in the Florida Senate race, Republican Rick Scott is 74,000 votes ahead of Democrat incumbent Bill Nelson. This will be a big win for the Republicans.
20:42 EST: The Republican incumbent for Illinois has lost his re-election bid. That means the state of Illinois is now completely controlled by the Democrats.
20:31 EST: Results from NBC News are running about 15 minutes ahead of everyone else. NBC News Election Results
20:07 EST: One of my bell-weather House races that I am watching is Florida #26. With 60% of the polls counted, the Republican incumbent is 1,700 votes behind. If the Republicans lose this district, they will be in trouble if they want to retain control of the House
Update 20:18: The Republican incumbent is on the verge of losing.

There is a reason why the New York Slime newspaper took a billion dollar loss on selling the Boston Globe.
They do not report fact; they narrate.
Fake News.
Once again the New York Slime violates Godwin's law and expects different results.
They are insane!
