Trump is more decisive than Obama

When Obama was decisive like handing Iran 1,5 billion dollars he did it in the shadows.

Either cut bait or fish

Either win or withdraw.

There was not enough public support to win. It was too much of a bother. But a few can say "TY for your service"

Trump will not be beholden to the sunk cost fallacy.

Key Partner Thrown Into Disarray

Syria Kurds said Trump’s abrupt order to withdraw American troops from Syria could force it to leave the fight against Islamic State and seek new partners, including possibly Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Anon 9:PM, you overlook the US court decision that left US victims of Iran sponsored terrorist attacks owed over $800M and which your hero, the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize winner and leader of the team of geniuses who brought us all obamma-care, etc., deliberately ignored under the cover of night and no announcements to Americans that he was shipping that money to Iran. Too bad some big meany observed the hand-off and exposed the bum's dishonesty isn't it.
Did you know this? If you have children is this behavior what you taught them?

Leaving Afghanistan could be heart breaking, but it has to be done.

There is obviously something we don’t know, behind the scenes that involves USA and the Kurds, if made public would make all the snowflakes melt instantly

No, you get facts right. I never said it wasn't Iranian money.

If it was right to hold it in escrow for for a day, then it is right to hold it in escrow for decades. Of course it builds interest.

The point is we do not have to give it to any old legit or illegit government of Iran.

A brutal, police state regime is by definition illegit.

Therefore, the Ayatollahs are illegit. We should not be giving money to an ileggit government.

Obama did wrong. This is why he did this thing in the dark of night away from then eyes of Congress, the American people and the press. He knew he was doing wrong.

Unless something has changed Iran never actually signed the "nuke deal" and the Israelis provided evidence that they aren't even complying with what they didn't sign. Of course since they didn't sign it they would be under no obligation anyway. So they received money for an agreement they never signed and were violating the spirit of anyway.

Also, the victims of Iran sponsored terrorist attacks would probably need to be compensated as well. These issues are hopefully something a UN Tribunal or a similar forum can address someday and we can resolve all outstanding issues once and for all. Unfortunately this can't happen right now.
