Haaretz: Israel Says Missile Fired From Syria Intercepted; Reports of IDF Strikes Near Damascus

Syrian air defenses confronted "hostile targets" west of the capital city of Damascus, state media reported Tuesday.

"The aggression originated from above the Lebanese territories and a number of hostile targets were downed," Syrian TV added. SANA state media reported that missiles were indeed intercepted.

Unofficial reports, mostly by sources affiliated with the Syrian opposition, claim the attack targeted arms depots.
