When we were in Iraq and Afghanistan, the media, always talked about 2 wars. Maybe they were being honest. Maybe they only know of 2 wars due to the simple fact they can't count that high.
Or maybe they are just partisan hacks who have a narrative they have to push and so stay on message.
Back in WW2 America was at war with Italy, Japan and Germany. There were many theaters of war from The Burma theater, to the Pacific theater to the European theater etc. WW2 was a global war and they could handle all the different theaters or 'fronts'.
So now we are in a Global War on Terror (GWOT) with many theaters and the majority of the press cannot give us a consistent scorecard on each 'theater on a weekly basis. Long WAr Journal and WNU try/do, but the alphabet crazies do not. Very sad.
