Daily Mail: Fall in, you ’orrible little snowflakes! British Army's new recruitment drive targets 'me me me millennials, phone zombies and selfie addicts' in bid to make up falling soldier numbers

* New poster campaign appeals to computer game geeks and selfie addicts
* The campaign is said to have cost the Army around £1.5million to put together
* The aim is to sign up millennials with compassion, self belief and focus

What would an old-style sergeant major say? After telling soldiers it was all right to cry, the Army is now seeking recruits from the snowflake generation.

Its new poster campaign appeals to computer game geeks and selfie addicts.

The adverts, unveiled today, are inspired by the famous First World War poster featuring a pointing Lord Kitchener and the slogan ‘Your country needs you’.

Part of a £1.5million recruitment campaign for 2019, they show six soldiers with labels of modern stereotypes, such as ‘phone zombies’ and ‘class clowns’ above the slogan ‘Your Army needs you’.

Some of those snowflakes will work out. I would wager 50/50.

I've seen people come out of East St Louis, a Democrat run shit hole. Let's be clear. It is a shit hole, because it is run by Democrats. They hate the world . they hate everything.

Some stay mad and are anti-semitic and anti this and that. Others are salt of the earth, work hard, and get promoted. One said "I got out of East St. Louis and saw the rest of the world was not like that and thought WOW!"

Agreed. In my experience you never know who will turn out good, brave, etc until the time comes for it.

Dems run big cities...Our nation is moving highly skilled and start ups and money to Dem run cities! Boston, NY, San Fran, Austin, Chicago...you are full of beans with cliches...yes bad folks in many areas. So stay on your farm and collect govt subsidies..

"Boston, NY, San Fran, Austin, Chicago"

The firms are there and you have to be careful where you are at and when. Cities are big places and it takes them a long time to die. It is like a leech bleeding a patient and then saying look the blood letting is working the patient is rallying. People, groups or and organizations doe not go quietly into the night.

Detroit Died. It is dead. Democrats killed it. It took them 3 generations, but they did it. The businesses are in the collar cities / the collar counties. Enterprising Democrat pols will move there and try to rinse & repeat with their slash & burn identity politics and other nostrums.

PS I do not live on a farm. But maybe you can give me one. Just be your Democrat self; steal it from someone and give it to me.

Somehow I am getting the feeling you hate Democrats.

Fact: Dems run cities; for a long time, GOP ran state offices...that is now changing. The future is in the city for skilled jobs, startups, brain jobs...you can badmouth cities all you want but facts are facts...Yes, many of our cities are in bad shape, but then so too our nations infrastructure and health plans and education costs...What proposals have the GOP put forth to fix things? Detroit is dead? who runs the state¿ Do the people running the state bear no responsibility? Enough with childish cliches

For years, federal authorities have sought to pin something on Alderman Ed Burke, who has served on the city council since 1969 and is married to a sitting judge on the Illinois Supreme Court. No one in the city doubted the Burke was using his position to enrich himself. The only question was whether the FBI would be able to find enough on him to put him away.

Another day
...Another Democrat
......Another Crime

Chicago is living despite Democrats not because of it.

Chiraq went from 3.6 to 2.7 million people because of Democrat pols.

The industrial might is not in Chicago . It is in the surrounding area.

First Detroit, then Chicago, Democrats have their hit list and they are checking it twice!

Let the nation try to survive without Dem cities, ie NY, San Fran, Chicago, L.A., Boston! Just try

Once you decentralize banking a little more, we can survive without NYC or San Francisco.
A few bank move across the water to New Jersey and NYC craters.

Democrat leaders think they have people over the barrel on sunk cost. Just have to move a few banks and the rest will follow. Just close a few loopholes and the banks will figure the tax consequences and move to New Jersey or a little further to Pennsylvania.

Keep up your hubris chud. Multi-nationals move all the time.
