ABC News Online: India warns of 'crushing response' to Kashmir suicide attack as violent protests broke out in India
India's prime minister has warned of a "crushing response" to the suicide bombing of a paramilitary convoy in Indian-controlled Kashmir, an attack that killed 44 and is now the deadliest in the divided region's volatile history.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi placed the blame for Thursday's bombing squarely on neighbouring Pakistan, which India accuses of supporting rebels in Kashmir.
"Our neighbouring country thinks such terror attacks can weaken us, but their plans will not materialize," he said, adding that government forces have been "given total freedom" to deal with the militants.

Germany has a lot of nerve to say that. They are used to the US rescuing them, at the US expense, for far too long. Let Germany pay back to the US and to Russia the cost spent in defeating the 3rd Reich! After that, let Germany pay the US back proportionally for all the $ the US has spent protecting them via NATO. And let Germany remember that if it was not for the US, Eastern Europe and 1/2 of Germany would still be behind the "Iron Curtain"
