Reuters: Canada fears foreign interference in October elections

DINARD, France (Reuters) - Canada’s foreign minister said on Friday it was very likely that there would be foreign meddling in her country’s October elections and that there had already been some interference in the process.

After returning from Ukraine, ex-foreign minister warns Russian disinformation will be factor in Canadian election (The Chronicle Herald). I live in Canada and I have a different take. It's always easier to blame others for their mistakes.
Putting up a strawman is the most popular tactic that politicians use today.

There is all kinds of blame to go around. While Trudeau and Freeland have caused collosal damage to Canada's domestic and foreign relations, the Conservatives, with their thinly veiled acceptance of white supremacist groups and views, denial of environmental issues and antagonistic foreign policy outlook have not helped.

Canadians are between a rock and a hard place with no viable mainstream 3rd option.

The NDP insist upon being Liberals in drag while promoting milquetoast policies which are not resonating with Canadians.
