U.S. Senator Sanders Leads In The Early Democrat Primary Polls

FOX News: Sanders tops Biden in New Hampshire poll, as Buttigieg surges

MANCHESTER, N.H. – A new poll in the state that holds the first primary in the race for the White House shows Sen. Bernie Sanders of neighboring Vermont leading in the battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The University of New Hampshire Granite State Poll also shows former Vice President Joe Biden a distant second, with South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg surging to third. And the survey, released Monday, puts Republican President Trump far ahead of his declared or potential primary rivals in New Hampshire’s GOP presidential primary, which will be held next February.

WNU Editor: Here is a good analysis on the current Democrat Primary race from one that many in the Democrat Party closely follow .... Bernie Sanders Can Win, But He Isn’t Polling Like A Favorite (Nate Silver, FiveThirtyEight). I personally think that Senator Bernie Sanders has a fair chance to win the Democrat primaries, but it is going to be tough. The Democrat establishment and the media are not friendly, and the current field is very diverse and fluid. As for former Vice President Joe Biden, IMHO he should not waver/hesitate .... Biden Seems To Be Wavering On Campaign Launch, May Be Postponed (TPM).

Neither Sanders nor Biden have it.. ..

Sanders cannot compete with Trump on many levels, here a few examples:

1. Fund raising. Sure, he is a good fund raiser in comparison to other Democrats, but he lacks FAR behind Trump - I think by about 100million already lol and Trump hasn't even started to campaign yet, he was busy with the Russia hoax that people like Fred amplified/pushed on us all

2. Energy. Trump has an incredible amount of energy. Myself - I too need little sleep, and have tons of energy. But Trump is another level, I have to admit, I'm jealous. It's just incredible - and voters feel that. Bernie looks like the old grumpy puppet from Sesame street or whatever it's called. Some people are old and some people are old. Bernie has zero attraction in that field

3. Intellect, experience and accomplishments. Trump - hate him or love him - is actually quite intelligent, has a massive amount of experience in business, and has traveled the world over a hundred times. Where has Bernie been ffs? What has Bernie accomplished other than selling one lame book, riding on his popularity of leftist idiots? What has he actually accomplished? Trump made mistakes - he surely did - he borrowed too much money, still addicted to the Reagan economy and how easy it was to get money.. when he tried to finance his Taj Mahal casino, he almost went under because he took too much risk. BUT - importantly - he prevailed. Being a business man myself, I can tell you it is extremely hard and challenging sometimes to get loans (and keep them going) -- you are often at mercy of banks and international developments you cannot control. He was billions in debt and got out of it - that alone is incredible. Yes, he fucked over a lot of people in the process, but always within the law. If you have ever run a business, you know it is cut throat all around. No one gives you a break. Everyone comes after you. THAT is the reality. And you as a CEO have to - by law - do what you can do to keep your company going, you have responsibilities too. And sometimes that means doing things that stink. Unless we change the laws under which businesses operate on a daily basis - you cannot judge a man for playing the game. Everyone who is rich and successful is doing the same thing as Trump does. Morally corrupt? Yeah, maybe.. I would support that argument, BUT once you get close to bankruptcy, and you can feel what it means to your family (it is essentially a death sentence, especially in the US, which is unforgiving to people who fail), you too will do it. I bet you a thousand $ that you can talk all day long, but in the end - if it is legal, and you need to save your family - you too might declare a bankruptcy of a holding company if that means keeping your family alive. If you say you wouldn't, you haven't been there. Just be honest when you judge Trump.

4. Consistency and strategic thinking. The big threat to the US is China and Russia. Followed by drugs and illegal immigration. If you don't agree with that, fine - not here to convince you. BUT, look at Trump interviews even going back to the 90s. In all interviews he talks about China. In all interviews he talks about the drugs that kill Americans (more so than any war combined!) His brother too died of alcoholism. He is not faking it. To him this is real. To his voters this is real. And if you believe illegal immigration - now estimated to pass 20 million(!) - is a good thing, you have to be insane or you are Jeff Bezos or some super rich guy who doesn't give a f$ck about what's happening to lower income people.. they get crunched by this first - especially at border states.

So again , what does Bernie have to offer except for "I give you XYZ for free" lies?

I'm pleased to hear of the infighting in dim-land. The more the better.
