New York Times: Barr Assigns U.S. Attorney in Connecticut to Review Origins of Russia Inquiry

WASHINGTON — Attorney General William P. Barr has assigned the top federal prosecutor in Connecticut to examine the origins of the Russia investigation, according to two people familiar with the matter, a move that President Trump has long called for but that could anger law enforcement officials who insist that scrutiny of the Trump campaign was lawful.

John H. Durham, the United States attorney in Connecticut, has a history of serving as a special prosecutor investigating potential wrongdoing among national security officials, including the F.B.I.’s ties to a crime boss in Boston and accusations of C.I.A. abuses of detainees.

His inquiry is the third known investigation focused on the opening of an F.B.I. counterintelligence investigation during the 2016 presidential campaign into possible ties between Russia’s election interference and Trump associates.

The MSM will do everything they can to bury this one...wouldn't want to find out they were on the wrong side of the Watergate story.

Robert Mueller did not put 4 inniocent people from Boston in prison.

Robert Meuller DID KEEP them in prison, when he wrote to the parole board. Robert Meuller, the criminal with a badge, was read into the FBI's dealings in Bosotn. After being read in, he attempted to protect FBI informant s and multiple murderer WHITE BULGER by keeping 4 innocent men in prison.

The USG paid out over $ 100 million dollars.

Durham is the guy who helped set things right.

Meuller is hpoping that elections and the a media narrative will drown out and stop Durham. If that does not happen Meullerwill need clean uderwear.

Robert Meuller deserves a prison cell.
