Washington Times: Pentagon readies 'contingency plans' for Iran amid heightened tensions

Pentagon officials are drafting a slew of “contingency plans” for the U.S. and its Middle East allies, should growing tensions between Washington and Iran escalate in the region, says acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan.

U.S. national security officials are also reaching out to American allies, in a effort to gin up “an international consensus” to increase pressure on Tehran, in the wake of a pair of attacks on commercial oil vessels in the Gulf of Oman, Mr. Shanahan told reporters at the Pentagon on Friday.

Hopefully, they ordered several thousand body bags for the sailors lost in Iran missile attacks. However, considering most will drown, the navy might not need that many.

Actually millions if not 10s of millions of body bags would be needed for the Americans on the US mainland who would die in a war with Iran. Fortunately I predict we are going to sboid such a scenario as we have thus far with North Korea. Hopefully this prediction will prove accurate. Of course for an Australian this is "easy." Their loved ones aren't in danger.

of millions would die?
