Growing Calls In Iran To Seize A U.K. Tanker In Retaliation After Its Tanker Was Seized Off Gibraltar

When desperation sets in Iran could likely resort to what would amount to a somewhat suicidal strategy of jettisoning the oil either on the mere approach of hostiles, or, on the actual boarding of the vessels. That would be step one.

It takes a long time to fill and empty a tanker. There isn't just a hatch near the bottom that you can open up and spill it all out in 20 minutes.
