Jalali censured Washington’s warmongering rhetoric against Tehran, saying any move against the integrity of Iran will be firmly dealt with.

Asking to save face after all the decades of war criminality?
The Free Range International post of July 4th seems more believable.
It's just a machine, 150million.. we will get that back one way or another - or fuck with some of their hardware.. if they killed one of our soldiers (or civilians), it would be different. But I don't believe the US would ask, it would be very naive. It's obvious that neither side wants war, or we would have war already. Who DOES want the US and Iran be at war are other countries who would benefit from the distraction: China, Russia and North Korea; Russia would also benefit from rising oil prices. China less so. North Korea only if they can circumvent sanctions (which they can, but not as much)
So yeah.. China hopes Iran and US go to war so that hopefully Trump will be voted out if things go bad in that war (and China would OFC help to tip it in favour for Iran.. with money, advisers perhaps)
And Russia is already benefiting from the rise in oil prices.. a war could double the price for a barrel.. don't quote me on that though, not really my field of expertise

Iran has a habit of issuing threats on a weekly basis. Now, perhaps, they are also issuing lies. We have no proof from them or from our govt on this. In fact, we still have conflicting reports on where the drone was when shot down.
