New report details systematic killing of poor and calls for UN investigation into crimes against humanity
The president of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte is carrying out a “large-scale murdering enterprise” and should be investigated by the UN for crimes against humanity, according to a new Amnesty report into his so-called war on drugs.
It has been three years since Duterte pledged to wipe out drug abuse in the Philippines by giving police unprecedented powers and near total impunity to kill any suspected drug addicts or dealers. Amnesty’s new report detailed how the systematic killing of the urban poor has continued on such a scale it now amounts to crimes against humanity.

Funny how to cowards of Amnesty International never go yo places like Syria and accuse Assad or Russia.
544 civilians die in 2 months in Syria and 'crickets'
But they go after The Phillipines because they think it is a small, weak country that they can badge western governments into rolling.
Churches are smaller now, because people like Church Lady have moved onto NGOs.
...
anon--a silly charge!
Today, Amnesty International released a report that sheds light on what happened in Tell Kalakh, near the Lebanese border, in May when Syrian army and security forces mounted a broad security sweep.
Amnesty International reveals that security forces committed atrocities against Syrian civilians by rounding up men and boys, arresting them and torturing them in detention for weeks.
I have never seen Amnesty International change one thing in Russia, China, Iran, Syria or North Korea.
I considered joining them ion college, then I got wiser and didn't.
An organization like Amnesty International depends on honesty and a positive attitude in its ranks. Your decision to pass on the opportunity was no doubt a blessing for mankind.
For all the caterwauling and bellyaching and money spent, What has Amnesty international accomplished?
It has accomplished a lot actually. The people employed by Amnesty have a larger paycheck.
They do not have to get results, but they get a paycheck. They make lawyers seem like saints by comparison.
From their website
4. We spoke out to #FreeTheFive in China
So they pissed and moaned and nada...
7. We campaigned until Omar was finally released on bail
They got a terrorist set free. Good job assholes!
9. We’re making the death penalty history in the USA
Some people deserve the death penalty. Like John Wayne Gacy.
Let's suppose that the kooks and freaks at Amnesty International get their way and the DP is gone. You know where the dirtbags will go next. They will try to get serial killers off form serving life imprisonment. In the meantime they do not have to make any quotas in a factory or anything truly hard.
For the number of people they have freed, what did it cost?
