Bahamian Government Denies It Is Suppressing Dorian Death Toll

Daily Mail: Bahamian government denies it is suppressing Dorian death toll as latest official figures show just 44 - despite residents reporting seeing hundreds of bodies and that the 'stench of death' is oppressive

* Health minister said he was 'concerned that the focus had been on body count'
* Duane Sands said the priority was to comfort and care for those still suffering
* On Sunday the death toll was raised from 43 to 44, but it will rise 'significantly'
* Last week the Prime Minister said the loss of life would be 'catastrophic'

The Bahamian government has denied claims it is suppressing the Dorian death toll, as the latest official count of just 44 falls well below what residents have reported.

The main problem now is that the Bahamas has a very limited fresh water supply. They get most of it from rain fall and shallow limestone aquifers. If this isn't handled right, we could see outbreaks of cholera and other diseases. I've yet to see reports of any movement of any large scale water or medical resources toward the islands.

This disaster could turn into a catastrophe if the tenant government looks to save face over saving lives.

So we are going end up with a major portion of Bahamians as refugees with permits to stay 10 years.

So lets just annex The Bahamas. It will keep the Chinese out. We will have the debt burden of Bahamas anyway. They Bahamian officials, who think they won't do as well as state officials as national officials will be a minority of a minority.

It has the added benefit of pissing of trolls, liberals and certain Canadians. Of course we should hold 2 plebiscites.

African Americans would be for it a and the Black Caucus would be against it.

It would set a precedent for annexing Mexico. If and when we annex Mexico a 1/3rd of our senators will be Hispanic.

Just think how many liberals will have to get honest jobs or failing that go on welfare or begging on the streets.

Aon, are you suggesting the $85K debt for a degree in Bahamian LGBT???? studies isn't overly applicable?

Noooooooooooooooo!

DJT could score some points here with a fast response. Without clinton family participation as in Haiti, hopefully.
