Asia Times: Formation of J-20 fighters spark speculation
So far the PLA Air Force has not disclosed the total number of new J-20 stealth fighters at its disposal
The People’s Liberation Army Air Force for the first time showcased seven J-20 stealth fighter jets, the largest J-20 formation ever publicly shown, on Tuesday, leading experts to say China’s military is already operating a considerable number of J-20s, which could achieve regional aerial superiority and destroy the enemy’s strategic facilities deep in hostile territory.
In a video released by the PLA Air Force on social media, which was also the 74th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1931-45), as many as seven J-20s can be seen flying in formation, Global Times reported.
The number of J-20s flying in formation has gradually increased from two to five, and now seven, since China’s most advanced fighter jet made its first public appearance at Airshow China in Zhuhai, South China’s Guangdong Province, which was held in November 2016.

WNU Editor: I am more focused not on what China has, but what do they want in the future. And what they want in the future is to have an air force that is the most dominant in Asia.

Which they will use to attack Russia.
@WNU
What you see now +5 years is the peak of Chinese military force. From then - as they made a strategic mistake - it will go downhill.
The Chinese bet all their economic success on a breakthrough by 2025. Look at all the things they put in place that are now empty and rotting. Abandoned financial centers. Fleeing companies. Entire manufacturing sectors moving for years now and the press is only catching up slowly to it.
Same with the military. Look at all the number of ships, trucks, tanks, rockets etc they bought. The numbers are gigantic. Impressive. BUT. They are what will be very expensive to the Chinese. The maintenance costs alone of aging technology. Their budgets are falling. The money was printed. The GDP overinflated by up to 30%. They owe trillions in stolen goods/IP/copyright theft to the EU and the USA and many other nations. They will be sued in front of the WTO. On top you have an aging population, and an internal demand of the population to be heard. Opposing the one party rule and their tyranic nature.
China is falling and it is obvious to see. There is no way they can grow if all the money was printed, and even the companies are now giving IOUs to their employees. You know this. So their military will go the UK/British Empire way... slowly collapsing in itself. Meanwhile the US economy is killing. The military is again focus point. The enemy (China) is recognized. And the USA are ahead already.
Please. I call this match now ;) Where can I put my bet? Odds might not even be good anymore, unless you haven't been to China and don't know what's coming :D
