Gallop: Congress Approval, Support for Impeaching Trump Both Up

* 25% approve of Congress; up from 18% last month; Trump's approval at 39%
* 52% of Americans now support Trump's impeachment and removal
* Impeachment support reflects growth in support among independents, Dems

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- As Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives work through an impeachment inquiry regarding alleged abuses of office by President Donald Trump, approval of Congress is now at 25%. That is up from 18% in September, prior to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announcing the impeachment inquiry following news of possible wrongdoing by the president in communications with Ukraine.

The increase in approval of Congress over the past month is the result of a 15-percentage-point jump among Democrats (from 19% to 34%) as well as a smaller increase among independents (from 19% to 25%). Republicans' rating of Congress is stable, at 17%.

If the Democrats believed these polls, they would launch the above-ground full daylight impeachment effort. AKA a full vote.

How can a base be more so than what it had previously been? If so, then that is not now what it had been or what it had been is not what it now is...a full vote will come soon

The last poll was BS. the sampling was in error.

Support for impeachment might be growing at least as people tell anonymous pollsters (who know how to contact you, but not the other way around) over a phone.

I could tree a dog. I could get a hunting dog so excited it would climb tree until it figured out that I tricked it again and there was no quarry and it was stuck trying to figure out how to get down. It is funny, but it is mean.

People can be stampeded into war. The Great War is a perfect example. They all wanted War.
- They clamored for it.
- They celebrate it.
- They joined up voluntarily.
- Six months later they did not want it.

Another example is the Spanish American war. Business interests and the Yellow journalism got that started.
Some people have made the case that the Filipinos were winning before American intervention and did not need help. The Spanish troops needed saving.

PS: Joe Biden makes Trump look like a saint by comparison. Biden should be impeached if he still held some elected office.

I expect a rich man to employ his kids. It is also legal. I don t desire to see a politician to enrich his family like Joe Biden did. It is illegal. Just because you have enough political allies in law enforcement that know one will investigate or prosecute does it make it legal. It just means you got away with crime.

Hunter Biden a consultant for MNBA at age 21? Really? Had he even graduated college or was he a 5th or 6th year senior?

Bullshit polls, faked, slanted by cheating and statistical manipulation. The other danger is in the media trumpeting the fake results. Some final solution to media manipulation of news is desperately needed in the USA.
