More Disturbing Disclosures From The General Michael Flynn Prosecution

Power Line: More Bombshells From the Flynn Prosecution

General Michael Flynn still awaits sentencing. Meanwhile his new lawyer, Sidney Powell, is tormenting the prosecutors and the FBI, uncovering corruption in the FBI and the Department of Justice that, she credibly alleges, included the framing of General Flynn.

Is that too strong? I don’t think so. Yesterday Powell filed a reply brief in support of her motion to compel the production of more exculpating material by the prosecution, and to hold the prosecutors in contempt of court. Her recitation, which relies in part on text messages that I take it have come to light recently, makes a compelling case of FBI and prosecutorial misconduct. The reply brief is embedded below; I encourage you to read it in its entirety.

Update: FBI agents manipulated Flynn file, as Clapper allegedly urged ‘kill shot’: court filing (FOX News)

WNU Editor If half of what General Flynn's lawyer Sidney Powell is saying is true, and the documents that have been given to her from the Justice Department seems to prove her case that then National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was being deliberately set-up by the FBI, I do not see how the judge can sentence General Flynn to jail. In fact. I can easily see this case being dismissed. The sentencing of General Flynn is suppose to take place in December. I am willing to bet that it is going to be delayed. On a side note. Two years ago the main stream media was covering the case of President Trump's National Security Adviser Michael Flynn non-stop. Today, there is little if any coverage.

Many thousands (millions?) of unstable, uneducated and easily deceived people have invested their entire reservoir of emotional capital into Trump's imminent demise. They've been promised this will happen. Repeatedly. Assured and cajoled to this end for three years. When their sacred scrolls start to unravel (like they are now), we can expect to see several things.

1, Steadfast denial. This will be the main stream media fall back. Just keep hammering the tired saw that Trump is a liar, Trump is a Russian, Trump didn't actually win, Trump eats babies, etc. They have to. Their entire viewership

2. Political traps. This is the politician's road. Keep the impeachment train going. Assign high crimes to anything Trump says or does. This whole Ukraine phone call farce is exhibit 1A.

3. Violence. This will be kept mainly within deep blue, progressive urban centers. Which most of them are. Expect riots in NYC, Seattle, Portland, DC, Minneapolis, etc.

To the extent that they will disrupt the economy or ignite a civil war is more fantasy. Outside the DC bubble and large cities, life will go on normally. Folks will watch the news and read web sites with bemusement at how crazy these people are.

It will be interesting to watch their reactions to the exact inverse of their expectations take place. When all their heroes begin to fall. When the likes of Comey, Brennan, Clapper, McCabe come under criminal scrutiny instead of the "real" bogey man. Not that I have any serious hope that these creatures go to prison, but their mere disgrace will be delicious.

Two people and Fred (x3) posted to this article. Fred had to buck himself up twice before actually posting an opinion (or posting someone's else's opinion).

4:31, 7:28, & 7:30 (Same person) needs some sort of internet perspirant, because I can smell the desperation.

I would like to add any good American citizen will be writing their Senators and Representatives about this. That should promote action by the right to make sure this crap does not happen again. However, I am worried that nothing can be done but thank God in our processes; having an IG is very important.
