Poll: Overwhelming Majority Of Democrats Disapprove Of President Trump's Decision To Withdraw Military Forces From Syria

The Hill: Poll: 57 percent of Republicans approve of Trump's Syria withdrawal

More than half of Republicans agree with President Trump’s decision to pull troops out of northeastern Syria, according to a new Economist/YouGov weekly tracking poll.

Of respondents who self-identified as Republicans, 25 percent said they strongly approve of the troop withdrawal, while 32 percent said they somewhat approve. A combined 26 percent of the Republican respondents said they disapprove on some level while 18 percent had no opinion.

The poll comes as Trump has faced fierce criticism from a number of Republicans, including some of his most ardent allies, over the troop withdrawal.

WNU Editor: We are witnessing a major transformation in American politics. In today's vote not one Democrat voted against the resolution to condemn President Trump's withdrawal of US forces from Syria .... US Congress Condemns President Trump's Decision To Withdraw From Syria. In yesterday's Democrat Presidential debate all of the candidates demanded that President Trump  maintain U.S. forces in Syria. And now we have this Economist/YouGov poll where a majority of Democrats are also against this U.S. withdrawal. I thought I would never see this in my lifetime. The Democrats and their progressive allies have now replaced the neocons in the Republican Party to become the "war party" in Washington.

Update: On the issue of war and U.S. involvement in never-ending wars. IMHO she is the only Democrat Presidential candidate who is making sense .... Democrats hate Tulsi Gabbard because she reminds them what they used to stand for (Jack Hunter, Washington Examiner).

Gabbard is the most grounded and serious of this entire Democrat crop. (She's also quite attractive, btw)

And yes, the Dems and their media do hate Tulsi Gabbard. Not only for her stance on anti-regime-change wars, but also the fear that she may be starting a Ron Paul-esque deviation from the status quo Democrat party

Where's Mr. Chuds. Surely he'd have an insightful comment on this one of his favourite topics.

Telsi did NOT have bone spurs. the Dems have differing people willing to be individuals and not lockstep CHUDS. And yes, chuddies, GOP also dislike this move by Donald, as well as our military leaders.

One of resident is a real monomaniacal 1 trick pony.

"Chud is an insult frequently used, by leftists, to deride members of the Alt-right or other right wing groups. The word has been used as a sarcastic derision for decades, but has only attained the political slant fairly recently."

"Etymology 2
From the science fiction horror movie C.H.U.D. (1984)."

Over time it does seem that just when it looks as if sense will prevail, enough Democrats swing over to the dark side.
