* There hasn't been an official head count but 227 have already supported inquiry
House Democrats believe they have the necessary 217 votes to pass articles of impeachment against Donald Trump even before the hearings or investigation conclude.
A senior member of the Caucus said it is unlikely House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will agree to the President's demand for an 'inquiry vote'.
The source said there hasn't been an official count of the vote to impeach, they believe the numbers are there based on the 227 votes already recorded for an inquiry.

Do you think they're doing this because they think their crop of candidates aren't going to be able to defeat Trump next year?
One wonders what the US Chiefs of Staff think & as part of the establishment & will do? Will they back Trump or sit tight? If Trump is overthrown rather than defeated in an election, Joe Publics vote will count for nothing in the future. The same undemocratic forces as at work in Britain & Europe. Democracy in the west may soon be dead, replaced initially by soft fascism.
What happens is this:
The investors into the Democrat party are withholding their -money- until the Democrats get rid of him and put the country on a path again that said investors agree
Check the dropping -personal- and "campaign" incomes of Democrats. All dropped significantly
This is not about saving the country from Trump. This is about making excuses / create pretext to get rid of him so they can get their money.
The US is rarely ruled by people. This is about money
Well, your right and Trump is far exceeding intake and raising tons of money. Not enough donors on the Dem side to change that.
Note; Trump exceeding Obama intake for 2nd run at this point.
Investors said they will not donate to the DNC, if Lizard Warren is the nominee. Right now she is the front runner and so donation have fallen.
