USA Today: Outraged Americans condemn US actions in Iraq and Iran: 'Enough with this nonsense'
Demonstrators took to the streets across the U.S. on Saturday to protest the Trump administration's killing of a top Iranian general and decision to send about 3,000 more soldiers to the Middle East.
“No justice, no peace. U.S. out of the Middle East,” about 200 protesters chanted near the Trump Tower in Chicago. Protesters held signs that read “Stop bombing Iraq” and “U.S. troops out of Iraq.”
More than 70 planned protests were being spearheaded by Act Now to Stop War and End Racism, a U.S.-based anti-war coalition, in conjunction with other organizations. They seek withdrawal of U.S.troops from Iraq and end to what it says is a war on Iran, according to spokesperson Walter Smolarek.

In the early aughts, people in chat rooms or comment threads said if things became really bad, they would leave the US for Australia, New Zealand or Sweden/Norway. They do not say that anymore.
Left/LIbs/Lunatics always point to the Nordic countries (Sweden/Norway/Denmark) as successful socialist countries. For example "Feel the Bern" Sanders does as well as you garden variety Democrat socialist and Antifa brown shirt. They do this when sane people (i.e non-libs) bring up the socialist paradises of Cuba, Venezuela, China, USSR et al.
I understand that Sweden had to scale back the safety net in the 1990s to continue on. Then came those left of center destroying Sweden with immigration. Malmo is a mess. The Danes have such problem in Copenhagen that they do security checks at the border because Malmo is a mess. TBH Baltimore and other cities in the US are a mess. One does not negate the other, either way.
Left-libs in the USA always point to Sweden about how high tax rates are compatible long term with a healthy economy and happy populace. So let's put it this way. Since Left-Libs are always using Sweden as an exemplar of a good workable socialist (or at the very least mixed model) country, non-libs follow events such as immigration, crime, replacing aged pensioners with immigrants in govt. housing, paramedics wanting bullet proof vests in Stockholm.
So no one talks about decamping to Sweden anymore even though things are bad here. Where I live you can buy drugs, get pan handled, and get car jacked within a block of the police station.
