Vindman was escorted out of the building this afternoon and told his services were no longer needed.

'Today, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman was escorted out of the White House where he has dutifully served his country and his President,' his attorney David Pressman said in a statement. 'He does so having spoken publicly once, and only pursuant to a subpoena from the United States Congress.'

He indicated Vindman was fired for his testimony to the House.

WNU Editor: You serve at the pleasure of the President, so this should surprise no one. But for me the big story is not that Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman was removed from the White House today. To me the big story is .... why was he not removed months ago? No past administration would have ever tolerated having someone like him around.

Update: His twin brother Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman, a National Security Council attorney, was also fired and walked off the White House grounds alongside him.

Maybe Trump was counseled to play it safe.

If Trump had fired Vindman, an unelected O-5, who tried to set policy, the Demorats might have gone over the top by panicking some wildebeests.

I thought being an adult, experience or getting scrambled eggs would make someone like Vindman more patient instead of a bomb thrower. I admire his passion to be against the aggressor Russia, but that is all. If he wanted to set policy, he should have ran for public office and been forthright. Being a Cold Warrior does not give you carte blanche.

He was a wounded vet versus bone spur guy
he was subpoened and he obeyed the law
his brother, who had nothing to do with any of this also fired

Here’s a new abuse of power by Trump that should alarm you

Was Vindman nobbled by the Dems? Offered a star or 2 in the next Dem administration? I prepared cases & gave evidence in London courts for 25 years. I watched his testimony. He didn't take his eyes off the page, (perhaps an indication of a prepared script?) stammered & did not appear assured.
Not a convincing witness for me 🖖🙄

Benedict Armold was wounded vet. Here turned traitor.

"2. If you win, you won't have to be in the military anymore -- maybe. According to this article, the rumor that if you win the lottery you can get out of your military contract is actually true. As long as you aren't essential personnel, your service very likely could grant you an early honorable discharge as "unique circumstances." As former Seaman and lottery winner Don Burdette told Stars and Stripes, "It's kind of hard to do the rest of your time when you’ve got money on your mind.""

Then there is a fact why join enlist in a war if academic & media scum are influenced by the Soviets and it is considered lost?

Consider a force that is not considered up to the task by some in society US in the Vietnam era or Germany now. Would you advice a young person to join the German Armed forces and possibly meet the Russians head on using his trusty broomstick?

"he was subpoened" (subpoenaed) "and he obeyed the law"

He collaborated with his faction, which was doing illegal things. He was told to make a fuss on cue and then to read a script.

"his brother, who had nothing to do with any of this also fired"

His brother might have been a co-conspirator. We will find out in the next year.

Please try to up your game.
