Pres Trump is routinely branded a racist for referring to the bug as the Chinese virus. As it is a virus & originated in China, then technically he's correct. But is he trying to give us a clue as to its origin in China? The Chinese gov allege the US Army deployed it into China. If this allegation that the USA launched a Bioweapon attack on China becomes believed, then politically/militarily what actions will the Chinese take against the USA? Then the word was sent out from on high to stop it and all the little foot soldiers of the Democrat Party in the media dutifully complied with a hearty "Jawohl!" If you must know some of them clicked their heels as well.
MERS stands for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome. The journalists do not complain about that.
It is important to keep calling it for what it is, because the Communist government is very much trying to pin this on the US. I do not have to pick up one newspaper to know this for a fact.

Actually I believe China was delayed from a quick response due to having to DISCOVER the new virus, with its long incubation. Refer to the link below regarding announcements.
Now given the time line noted in the link, what was it that caused a two month delay for the USA, which by the way is still not quite fully prepared? Any guesses? Especially note that while the President was poo pooing the seriousness of the Virus, it was revealed with plenty of time, like 2 months and but basically, no preparation in the USA?
Now for re-naming it something pertinent to the USA's increasing Corona Flue Virus disaster. I suggest:
"Trump's Folly Flue" or "Trump's Flue Folly" has a nice ring to it.

I'm the anon @4:26 and from the UK and whilst the world was going into lockdown, including the USA banning flights from EU, Boris here was dithering and pushing the herd immunity gamble, whilst sitting on his hands.
Stop hating on the yanks or Trump. You definitely do not have mutual exclusivity on being unprepared, we are not even testing unless you go to a hospital and are really ill.

I was reacting to Trump who never misses a chance to degrade/insult something, someone, or, some country, and rightly, or, wrongly, China is very much in his sites at this time.
There are many Chinese people who are citizens living in the USA now. Some of the families have been Americans for generations. Trump is a divider when as President he should be working to unite Americans, not divide them, something he does at every opportunity.
I don't care what it is called and go along with naming it after the country of origin. In my post and giving due respect to the American people who will suffer the brunt of this attack I suggested a couple of names that would keep him in the public eye, not as the originator, but, as the facilitator.
Make no mistake about it, Trump was/is deflecting from his failure to react and get the country prepared. He is only now reluctantly getting on side. There will be lives lost due to his actions, in-actions and failure.

I have never felt hatred towards any person, country, or, nationality. Since the USA is our closest neighbor and given a Chinese saying, "When America sneezes Canada catches a cold" I make it my interest to follow what goes on down there. For the past 30 years it ain't pretty and there appears to be no hope in site.
