Some Hard Facts About The Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic

End Of The American Dream: The Facts That Prove That Almost Everyone Is Wrong About This Coronavirus Pandemic

When it comes to COVID-19, most Americans seem to be gravitating toward one of two extremes. Some are treating this pandemic like it is the end of the world, while many others are dismissing it as a “nothingburger”. But the truth is somewhere in between. Nobody can deny that lots of people are getting sick and lots of people are dying. In fact, the U.S. death toll has doubled in a little over a week and it has now shot past the 47,000 mark. And as this pandemic progresses, a lot more people are going to get sick and a lot more people are going to die, and this is going to be true whether the lockdowns continue or not. The lockdowns were never going to stop COVID-19, and anyone that believed that was just being delusional.

Michael T Snyder is a favorite of Info Wars and ZeroHedge. There must be a reason.

Interesting read. I do agree with him that for most of America the lockdowns need to end immediately. Hysteria aside, for the most part, our health care system should be able to easily handle this. Of course understanding this requires us to cut through the false claims and hysteria spread by unscrupulous health care professionals who shook down the taxpayers for power and mkney by spreading false claims and fear. The author of this piece fails to call these evil ones out.

While he is spot on here that for the most part the lockdowns must end immediately, he doesn't appear to understand the true costs of the lockdowns. I've commented on these true costs here many times. Also, he's being intellectually dishonest when he states that deaths from this are overstated. As several of my contacts in the medical profession have pointed out, physicians are facing enormous pressure to classify causes of death as COVID-19 when the real cause is something else. These are people I've known for a long time and have a good track record. This is not the case for the pundit. If we assume the homebound patient even had COVID-19, more likely they died with it as opposed to of it and this is a big difference. Furthermore NY has been at the forefront of the draconian responses to this and they need to justify this . As such, I'd expect tests for COVID-19 to be a standard part of any cause of death investigation. This is why he can't "name names" as to who told him this. The claim would never stand scrutiny. Botton line: the number of cases is likely vastly understated as those who are only mildly sick or asymptomatic wouldn't be expected to seek medical attention. The number of deaths caused by this is overstated due to the financial and other pressures being exerted by powerful people who need to justify the course of action they set forth.

The author also fails to address the Swedish model that didn't involve lockdowns and has been very successful. He also fails to point out the obvious benefits of trying to shelter those most vulnerable. While he does touch on the benefits of herd immunity, I don't think he understands fully the true value of this. He is correct to point out that lockdowns only delay herd immunity.

He and I do seem to be on agreement the lockdowns must end. GA and TN are about to do so sending a gigantic f you to the US government and POTUS. Expect other states to follow soon!!

With that said maybe he's right this thing may kill over 900k once it fully runs its course. Continuing thr current policy will kill even more in the next few years as a result of it. Thus far the "cure" not only hasn't been a cure but it's been worse than the disease!!

Part of the "learning process" should be NEVER extended unlimited powers to people like Fauci, Birx, and the CDC. While such people likely can make value added contributions in some instances, they do need oversight of which none was provided. At a minimum, leasrds in the restaurant, travel, hospitality, passenger cruise, gym, beauty, and massage industries should have been brought on as equal partners to the health care professionals to help craft solutions. Had this been done I truly believe we would have been able to come up with workable solutions. Unfortunately this wasn't done. Fauci, Birx, and their teams don't consult with anyone and they've hurt allot of good peiple while showing no remorse for their actions. I believe they may be fundamentally defective as humans. Perhaps in the future people like them can be kept out of leadership positions. Bad leaders are bad enough. When a bad leader is a bad person, the problem is even more profound. When fundamentally bad people find themselves in leadership and there is no oversight provided things are even worse. In my considered opinion, Fauci , Birx, and their teams are the epitome of this. Keep such people out of leadership!!
