Anyone who encourages/studies/obsesses on "collapsology" - as so defined - hates their current time and place because they have failed in it. Unable to cope. And is longing for some sort of controlled upheaval that might benefit them, as they have not acclimated to the world as it is.
As such, they would be even less equipped to exist in a world of an actual "collapsology". Which would be of the sort that they never fathomed or prepared for.
(and would likely be comprised of R-rated movies and M-rated video games)

There is no nice way to put it.
There is this idiot, Dr Zeke Emmanuel.
He says we cannot or should not reopen the economy until we have have a vaccine.
There are dozens of strains of influenza and so they have to guess which strain will be prevalent during the upcoming fly season. They guess wrong at times. Even when they guess right, a new strain that was in the minority sometimes grow and become the majority strain. And you have to have a shot every year or it doesn't work they say.
So consider the limitations of the flu "vaccine", when someone from the Emmanuel family wants to close the economy down for the corona virus unless their is a vaccine, There isn't a vaccine for influenza. Why do you thing there will be one for corona?
So all Zeke is rooting for is to shut down thew economy long enough until the Democrats gain control and keep shutting it down periodically, so that they can maintain control.
