* Recent reports that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's health was at risk have renewed concerns about could happen after his death.
* It's not clear if Kim has picked a successor, and his sudden death could destabilize the region and force the US and others in the region to react.

A Kim Jong Un demise could destabilize the region, create a massive refugee flow and force the US, South Korea and possibly other regional allies to react to the upheaval.

That's how experts contacted by Military Times see a Kim-less future possibly unfolding in the nuclear-armed Hermit Kingdom.

The questions about what would happen should Kim die or be incapacitated were sparked by a CNN report that the North Korean despot was in "grave danger" following a surgery. However, the Yonhap News Agency, a South Korean-government funded organization, later tweeted out that there were "no unusual signs" of Kim's health.

But even if he isn't on his death bed, Kim does have health issues and his exit from the stage would create turmoil, experts say.

WNU Editor: I do not see any special or extra South Korean or U.S. military movements at the moment. But I am sure there are discussions in many governments that border North Korea on who will control North Korea's nuclear arsenal in the event that Kim Jong Un passes away.

In all honesty do you think the communist Chinese can keep their hands out of the situation. If it’s just a Korean situation I have no doubt that the South Koreans would win. That the Korean Peninsula could become one. Would the communist Chinese let that happen ?
