Washington Examiner: No institution has failed the public worse than the news media during the COVID-19 pandemic
No institution has failed the public worse during the COVID-19 pandemic than the news media.
It seems impossible that this should be the case, especially considering the federal government’s sluggish, incoherent, and unfocused handling of this crisis. But even the federal government has managed to get some things right. The same cannot be said for our self-important Fourth Estate.
From the very beginning, corporate media got the story wrong, publishing article after article assuring readers that the virus was not as dangerous or serious as it sounded.
“Is this going to be a deadly pandemic?” Vox asked on social media on Jan. 31. “No.”

The media usually never admits error. So what can we learn?
The previous scare attempts and lies have failed. So the media does a mea culpa and then try to unload the BIG LIE on the public all over again.
Locally they stopped reporting Corona about 2 weeks ago. Governor MOOBs is not heard every afternoon. There is no percentage in it for him, so he moved on. They stopped reporting corona deaths. There have not been any. For the less than a dozen deaths for a million people that there were, they were all nursing home residents.
So we are wrecking economies for a bad flu or maybe just an average flu. This will create poverty and poverty costs many, many lives.
Meanwhile shootings are shooting up (no pun intended). The victims are all black. If the economy was going great guns and they were scrounging for people, I think these people would still be alive. They would still be alive.
When it gets bad enough employers wills steal employees from each other. That is beyond low employment. That is wage growth. If a person is comfortable in the job what are the chances they will move for the same money? You have to offer them more money. Or the job has to be closer to home or something.
So liberals have wrecked the economy and people are dying. In this case black people.
I looked at the area of the shooting. I immediately saw that it was public housing. There was no sign, but it was obvious.
But wait for it. The square footage of the housing was as much or more than someone in the military would get for base housing. There was also a lot of green space.
So shelter, food, clothing ... There is no lack. The education is public and the facilities are often better than most other facilities at surrounding "non-inner city schools."
So the liberals got everything they wanted for the people that they ranch ... and still the killings.
Liberals need to be held to account.
Yes, the media has failed.
How? Fox? WSJ? NY Times? Brietbart? NY Post?
1:14 is being so coy and blushing. Just want to be shown what's what and how even though they know.
