Chinese President Xi Jinping has for the first time defended his country’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic on the world stage, saying China has acted with transparency and “done everything in our power” to help other countries.

In his address to the World Health Assembly on Monday, Xi called for global support of the World Health Organisation, as the agency confronts funding cuts from the United States.

Xi added that China would support a “comprehensive review” of the global response to Covid-19 when the pandemic was over. But China did not give its backing to an EU-led draft resolution calling for an independent investigation into the WHO’s performance.

Wnu.. remember the Cuban missile crisis when Russia argued in front of the UN/with the whole World watching, that there were no ICBMs on the island? And how Russia was caught lying and satellite photos proved it? And how embarrassing it was?

This will be China's moment. On live TV with the whole world watching and Xi saying they did all they could?

So many Intel agencies already now seem to have evidence of a serious incident at the Wuhan lab in October - exactly when and where virologist suspect this virus originated. Road blocks were installed. No phone calls coming in and out of the Wuhan lab for a couple weeks during that time frame. The Chinese were successful in killing a few doctors but they couldn't get rid of all evidence. The bat lady will disappear next. I'd leave China tonight if I were her. But she can't for sure. Likely the entire staff in that lab will be disappeared this week.

The Chinese better come clean now. But they didn't and now it's too late. Xi spoke. He lied on record. This will be a very very very costly lie - to him personally and to the country. And it will be so embarrassing that his own position is at risk. This of course cannot happen so they will demand of CNN to go into hyperdrive. Expect the craziest accusations, lies, Russia hoax 3.0, whistle blower 4.0 and anything else they can finance to happen. And I'm sure the gang at CNN - you know the moral and intellectual backbone of the USA - to abide happily. The Lemon (who's big friends with race war baiter Jessie Smollet) will believe anything and do anything. And he'll feel good about it too
